SkarpTech LLC – Refund & Cancellation Policy

Effective Date: 15 July 2025

This Policy explains when and how you may obtain a refund for software licences purchased from SkarpTech LLC (“we”, “us”, “our”). All payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd. (“Paddle”), our Merchant of Record, which also handles invoicing, collection of taxes, and refund disbursement.

Scope & Definitions

  • “Software” means any digital content, licence key, or subscription you purchase through our website.
  • “Consumer” = a natural person acting for non-business purposes; “Business Customer” = all others.
  • “Licence” includes both perpetual keys and subscription access.

Statutory Right of Withdrawal – EU/EEA & UK Consumers
You have 14 days from the day after purchase (“Cooling-Off Period”) to withdraw from the contract unless you:
(a) tick the consent box at checkout to begin the download/activation immediately, and
(b) acknowledge that doing so waives your right of withdrawal under Article 16 (m) of Directive 2011/83/EU (and UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013).
To exercise the right, email skarptech.refund@protonmail.com or support@paddle.com citing your order ID and a clear statement of withdrawal. You may—but do not have to—use the model form in Annex I (B) of the Directive.

Defective or Non-Conforming Software (All Regions)
If the Software fails to download, activate, or perform substantially as described within a reasonable time after purchase, we will—at our option—(i) provide replacement keys, (ii) supply corrected files, or (iii) issue a full or partial refund. This is in addition to any mandatory consumer-law remedies that apply in your jurisdiction.

Non-Refundable Items & Situations

  • Licence renewals or subscription periods already consumed.
  • Volume or OEM keys once activated.
  • Incompatibility with unsupported operating systems or hardware explicitly excluded in our system-requirements page.
  • Orders where you waived the Cooling-Off Period after download or activation began.
  • Services performed in full before withdrawal (e.g. custom development work).

How to Request a Refund
Contact Paddle Buyer Support (https://paddle.net/support) or email skarptech.refund@protonmail.com with:
– Order ID, licence key, and the email used at checkout.
– Description of the issue or basis for withdrawal.
Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 3-10 business days after approval. Processing times may vary by bank or card issuer.

Effect of Refund
Upon refund, your licence is terminated and associated keys will be disabled. You must uninstall and cease all use of the Software and delete any copies in your possession.

Currency, Taxes & Fees
Refunds are issued in the original transaction currency and amount, including VAT/Sales Tax where applicable. We do not charge restocking or processing fees to EU/UK consumers. For other regions, payment-gateway fees may be unrecoverable and therefore non-refundable.

Chargebacks & Fraud Prevention
We reserve the right to suspend or revoke licence keys if a chargeback is initiated. Fraudulent disputes may be reported to the relevant payment networks and authorities.

Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

  • For EU/EEA consumers, you may use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
  • US & other customers: this Policy is governed by the laws of the State of South Dakota, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Courts located in Codington County, SD, have exclusive jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer-protection law provides otherwise.
